PURPOSE: To demonstrate Kirkoff's laws with a series and a parallel
connection of two identical light bulbs.
DESCRIPTION: Two light bulbs are wired in series and in parallel across 6
volt DC circuits. Close the knife switch to activate the circuits. The brightness of
the truck lamps act as visible power meters.
EQUIPMENT: Series and parallel circuits are stored on the elctricity and
magnetism cabinets. The power supplys are stored in the general use cabinets.
SET UP TIME: Fifteen minutes.
