PURPOSE: To introduce the idea that the magnetic force can penetrate your hand (a non-ferrous material) without apparent obstruction.
DESCRIPTION: Hold two strong rare earth magnets in your hand. Place one on top of the palm. Hold the other below the palm. Use opposite poles flip the magnet. This will show that the force of magnetism can pass through your hand.
EQUIPMENT: Nib magnets are stored in the magnet drawer.
