PURPOSE: To show that the current in a wire will create a magnetic field.
DESCRIPTION: A pair of high current wires is supplied with a very high current from a battery charger to cause the wires to either attract or repel. USE CAUTION. The current is more than enough to easily kill a person.
EQUIPMENT: Current wires are stored in the electricity and magnetism cabinets. The high current battery charger is stored in room 055.
SETUP NOTES: Provide leather gloves. Do not overheat the wires
