PURPOSE: To show how the g force is greatly increased by a centrifuge.
DESCRIPTION: A handcrank spins a centrifuge containing a dye colored mixture. The seperation of the mixture is clearly seen after spinning.
EQUIPMENT: Centrifuge, hand crank.
SETUP NOTES: Use a safety shield and spin slowly or the test tubes will fly
apart like a dangerous projectile.
