PURPOSE: To show that a short organ pipe has a higher frequency than a
long organ pipe.
DESCRIPTION: Two organ pipes with different lengths are shown in the
above photo. One is short and the other is long. When they're activated by
blowing carefully into the mouthpiece the short pipe will have a higher frequency than the
long pipe.
