PURPOSE: A representation of the interference pattern
from two identical light sources.
DESCRIPTION: Two transparencies, each one consisting of a
Huygens-like series of equally spaced concentric rings, are placed on the overhead and are
superimposed on each other. The interference pattern from these two identical sources can
be observed as the distance between the two sources is varied.
EQUIPMENT: Transparencies and overhead as photographed.
