Computational Resources for Brown's Condensed Matter Theory Group

Brown University's Condensed Matter Theory Group has a Cray supercomputer,
a vector J916 machine with 8 processors and 1 Gbyte of memory.

The group runs programs on a cluster of Sunblades with 64-bit UltraSparcIIe processors, and on a cluster of Sun Fire 280R Servers each with dual 750 MHz 64-bit UltraSparc III processors and 4GB of memory.

Also, the group has access to an IBM RS/6000 SP supercomputer at Brown University's Technology Center for Advanced Scientific Computing and Visualization.
