Plot outline: Seymour 'SY' Parrish has been doing photo development for 20 years. He has a vast knowledge of modern photography and develops photos for various customers at the Sav-Mart. His biggest customers are the Yorkin family, and they seem to have everything in the world. But when SY begins spying on the Yorkins, he begins to feel that he wants to be in the Yorkin's life. But SY discovers that the Yorkins are not as perfect as they seem and becomes a man on a mission to expose the imperfections of the Yorkin family at any cost. Summary written by Geoffrey A. Comment: STAR RATING:*****Unmissable****Very Good***Okay**You Could Go Out For A Meal Instead*Avoid At All Costs Following on from Insomnia,Robin Williams continues his trend of playing barmy madmen,this time taking the leading role.One Hour Photo is an intriguing looking film.The plot admittently hardly sounds so,as similar material has been covered before in films such as The Fan with Robert De Niro and to a less serious extent The Cable Guy with Jim Carrey.What's intriguing about OHP is the set-up and the premise.Williams's descent into madness is a little rushed and so is his close relationship with the family to begin with.What the film does convey so impressively however is Williams's character.A lonely,solitary man who leads a lonely life.No one would notice (or most likely care) if he died tommorow,and his need for companionship eventually envelops (psychotically) on the family.***
